The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max support MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging at up to 25W. That is noticeably faster than the 15W that older magnetic power banks top out at, but only if the power bank itself supports 25W Qi2 (sometimes written Qi2.2). Plenty of listings look similar and charge much more slowly.

This guide narrows it down to three magnetic power banks that support Qi2.2 25W, explains what to check before you buy, and tells you roughly how many charges to expect.

How I chose these: I haven't tested these power banks myself. This guide is based on manufacturer specifications and published reviews, and I note when a claim comes from the manufacturer.

What to check before you buy

  • Look for "25W" next to "Qi2" or "Qi2.2" in the listing. Older Qi2 power banks charge wirelessly at 15W, so if the listing says only "Qi2" with no 25W, or just "MagSafe compatible", it is probably the slower kind.
  • A magnetic phone case. These power banks snap on with magnets, and a non-magnetic case can stop them from holding or charging properly.
  • Cooling. Fast wireless charging produces heat, and heat can slow charging down. Cooling features help it stay fast.
  • A wired port as well. A USB-C port is handy for charging an iPad, AirPods or a laptop, and for recharging the power bank itself.

How many charges will you get?

A 10,000mAh power bank typically delivers about 5,500 to 6,500mAh of usable charge to a phone, because some energy is lost in conversion. Reported battery sizes for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max vary by source and by SIM version, so treat these as estimates: expect roughly one full charge plus a top-up from a 10,000mAh power bank. If you want about two full charges, look at a 20,000mAh model instead.

1. Anker MagGo 2 Pro: best overall

Best for: people who want the fastest charging and the best heat control, and don't mind paying more.

  • Qi2.2 25W wireless charging. Anker says it takes an iPhone 17 Pro from empty to about 50% in around 25 minutes.
  • Active cooling with a small fan, which Anker calls SnapCool.
  • 45W USB-C port for fast wired charging and fast recharging of the power bank itself.
  • Built-in fold-out stand and a display that shows charging details.
  • Anker lists compatibility with iPhone 12 through iPhone 18 series.

Keep in mind: it is the most expensive of the three, and the speed claims come from Anker's own testing. Anker also notes it does not work with non-magnetic cases.

2. UGREEN MagFlow 10K: best value

Best for: most iPhone 18 Pro owners who want Qi2.2 speeds from a well-reviewed brand without paying a premium.

  • Qi2.2 25W wireless charging, in a 10,000mAh power bank.
  • Reviewers described it as the first Qi2.2-certified power bank to reach the market.
  • Macworld noted it felt remarkably cool during its tests.
  • Built-in USB-C cable that supports up to 30W wired charging and doubles as a carry strap, according to the Amazon listing.
  • The listing notes that iPhone 12 to 15 models charge wirelessly at up to 15W, while newer phones can use the full 25W.

Keep in mind: reviewers noted it has no kickstand, so hands-free viewing means propping the phone up some other way.

3. INIU Magnetic Slimmest 10K: best budget-friendly

Best for: anyone who wants a popular, slim Qi2 25W power bank without paying Anker prices.

  • Qi2 25W certified magnetic wireless charging. INIU says it takes an iPhone 17 Pro from 0% to 50% in about 33 minutes.
  • A short USB-C cord attached to the power bank can be detached and used for 45W wired charging. INIU says it takes an iPhone 17 Pro from 20% to 78% in about 25 minutes.
  • A digital display shows the battery level and charging status.
  • INIU claims about 1.8 charges for an iPhone 17 in its own testing. Real-world results are usually lower, as explained above.
  • Typically priced well below the Anker.

Keep in mind: it is listed for iPhones only. INIU's title names the iPhone 12 through iPhone 18 series as compatible, but its fine print says the fastest 25W charging is supported on the iPhone 16 Plus, 16 Pro Max and 17 series, so I can't confirm the full 25W speed on an iPhone 18 Pro from INIU's listing alone. INIU sells several similar-looking models, so use the link below to get this exact one.

Frequently asked questions

Do these work with older iPhones?

Qi2.2 power banks work with MagSafe-compatible iPhones from the iPhone 12 onward, though older models charge at slower speeds than the iPhone 18 Pro.

Is a Qi2 (15W) power bank still worth buying?

It works, but it charges wirelessly at 15W instead of 25W. If you want the full speed your iPhone 18 Pro supports, choose a Qi2.2 25W model.

Will it work with my case?

Only if your case is MagSafe-compatible or very thin. Thick or non-magnetic cases can block the magnets, so remove the case or switch to a magnetic one.

Which one should I pick?

Pick the Anker MagGo 2 Pro for the best speed and cooling, the UGREEN MagFlow 10K for the best balance of price and quality, and the INIU for a lower price than the Anker.

Taking a power bank on a flight

If you plan to fly with a power bank, pack it in your carry-on bag and not in checked luggage. Airline rules on carrying and using power banks vary and change, so check your airline's current policy before you travel.
